Following last year's success, we once again had the honor of serving tea at the "Kumejima Tsumugi Exhibition" organized by Yamamoto Kogei. This year's event was even more special with the presence of the Kumejima Tsumugi business chairman, veteran weavers, and young artisans from Kumejima. They passionately discussed each piece's process, characteristics, and the history of Kumejima, captivating the audience's interest. For sweets, we offered 'Kunpen' from Arakaki Kami Confectionery and the famous Kumejima miso cookies, both from Okinawa. The matcha tea was served in handmade bowls by Mr. Yamamoto, and 'Yachimun' (Okinawan pottery) by Hidetobo's Hideyoshi Kinjo, enhancing the tea experience.
