Chanoyu embosdies the essence of Japanese culture.
Through serving matcha tea, we aim to share the spirit of 'Wa' (harmony) with many.
Our journey begins with a simple bowl of tea.

Post-Concert Tea Service (Matsuida Mori-no-Ie)

After the Double M concert, we treated our guests to some sweets and matcha green tea.

Tea Serving at the Kumejima Tsumugi Exhibition (”Kyorakutei”, Nihonbashi-Muromach, Tokyo）

Following last year's success, we once again had the honor of serving tea at the "Kumejima Tsumugi Exhibition" organized by Yamamoto Kogei.

The Tearoom Experience

Upon cleansing their hands at the tsukubai (water basin) and entering through the nijiriguchi (crawling entrance), our guests stepped into a tranquil world.

Tea Gathering on the Eve of the Mid-Autumn Full Moon (Bar Futara in Ginza)

At Bar Futara in Ginza 7-chome, we held a table and chair style tea ceremony, 'Machiyoi Tsuki no Chakai' (Tea Gathering on the Eve of the Mid-Autumn Full Moon).

Tea Ceremony Experience (Ruth Faulkner Library, City of Belmont, Western Australia)

Upon request from the City of Belmont, we conducted a tea ceremony experience at the Ruth Faulkner Library.

Mokumen Factory Tour and Sachet Making Experience (Kochi Prefecture, Toda Shoko)

We had the opportunity to visit Toda Shoko, the sole specialized mokumen (wood wool) manufacturer in Japan, for a factory tour and sachet making experience.

Tea Ceremony Experience Class
(Kolbe Catholic College in Perth, Western Australia)

On August 3rd, we had the privilege of performing a traditional tea ceremony for 1st and 3rd year high school students across two classes at Kolbe Catholic College?a local school associated with Father Kolbe, located approximately 45 minutes south of Perth, Australia.

We had the privilege of conducting a tea ceremony at The Beehive Montessori, a local school in Perth, Australia, for two upper elementary classes and one junior high class.

Participation in the Perth Japan Festival
(Perth, Western Australia)

A group of us from the NPO Kissako Cha Know You had the privilege of joining the Perth Japan Festival in Western Australia.

The Taketori Kaguya's Sakura Tea Gathering
(Kochi Forest Synthesis Center Information Exchange Hall)

At the remarkable rural facility, Kochi Forest Synthesis Center, each participant crafted a tea bowl from fresh bamboo and prepared and savored matcha in their self-made bowls.

We conducted a concise, educational tea ceremony demonstration at Shenton College in Perth, Australia.

Chanoyu Experience in Oimachi
(Shinagawa Civic Center "Curian“Tearoom)

Initiated in February 2023, our monthly "Chanoyu Experience" invites everyone to explore the tradition of chanoyu, the Japanese tea ceremony.

Tea Serving at Kumejima Tsumugi Annual Fair
(Yuimar-kan, Kumejima, Okinawa)

Among the producers involved in Japanese textiles, Kumejima Tsumugi from Okinawa stands out as the sole traditional craft that encompasses the entire process, from raising silkworms and extracting silk to dyeing and weaving.

Japan Experience in a Tearoom
(Ohta-ku, Tokyo)

We offered a tea ceremony experience in a tearoom to a family from Australia who was traveling in Japan.
