On January 20th, after our first "Vibrant Centenarian Exercise" session of the year, we held our “Matcha Tea Gathering“.

The weather suddenly turned cold again. The warmth of the match bowl spread gently into our palms, and the usucha soothed our throats, warming us from within. Someone kindly remarked “It warms the heart as well.” -- the remark that touched us deeply and made us happy.

We hope to continue offering the Matcha Tea Gathering throughout the year.

The sweets were Toraya’s zodiac-themed yokan "Uma Hayate" and Eitaro’s Hagoromo sugar sheets, both generously donated. We are sincerely grateful.
