Chanoyu embosdies the essence of Japanese culture.
Through serving matcha tea, we aim to share the spirit of 'Wa' (harmony) with many.
Our journey begins with a simple bowl of tea.

Table Chanoyu Lesson with Yoko Arimoto（SPACE A&CO in Setagaya, Tokyo)

On December 1st, we held a "Table Chanoyu Lesson" in collaboration with Yoko Arimoto. Arimoto's studio hosts various classes designed to enrich everyday life, and she approached us with the idea of incorporating tea into her casual dining and hospitality courses.

Tea Gathering at a Bar in Ginza（Bar Futara in Chuo, Tokyo)

In collaboration with Toshikatsu Saito, President of the Professional Advisor Association and CEO of STeam Co., Ltd., who is also a nationally certified CDA career consultant acclaimed as "Father of Ginza," we hosted a special tea gathering at a bar in Ginza, Tokyo.

Tea Serving at the Kumejima Tsumugi Exhibition (”Kyorakutei”, Nihonbashi-Muromach, Tokyo）

From November 2nd to 5th, the Kumejima Tsumugi Exhibition, organized by Yamamoto Kogei and sponsored by the Kumejima Tsumugi Cooperative　Association, was held at Kyorakutei in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

Chanoyu Experience in Kochi (Kochi)

We invited a couple from Connecticut, USA.

Kumihimo and Knot Amulets (Shinagawa, Tokyo)

Ms. Takako Aiba, who organizes tea ceremony, kimono dressing, and knotting classes, was invited as an instructor. 18 participants and 2 remote participants learned about "Knots" and silkworms, experienced braided silk strings, and made amulets.

Tea Ceremony Experience (Ohta, Tokyo)

We welcomed a couple from Australia who were visiting Japan.
The husband has been practicing Kyudo (Japanese archery) for about 15 years, as well as Jodo and Iaido (Japanese old martial arts ), and the wife has taken up Kyudo, tea ceremony, Japanese flower arrangement, Japanese dance, Sanshin (Okinawan instrument), bonodori and Taisho harp.

Tea Ceremony Experience (Ohta, Tokyo)

We welcomed two lovely people living in Perth, Australia to a tea room.

Tea Ceremony Experience Class (Kolbe Catholic College in Perth, Western Australia)

We demonstrated tea ceremony to 28 third-year junior high school students and 14 first-year high school students at Kolbe Catholic College in Rockingham, south of Perth.

Tea Ceremony Experience (Ruth Faulkner Library, City of Belmont, Western Australia)

On Sunday, September 1, 2024, we were requested again by the City of Belmont to conduct four 30-minute demonstrations of Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony (limited to 10 people each time) at the Ruth Faulkner Library.

Tea Scoop Carving Experience with Mr. Izumi Moriwaki

We were delighted to hold the 3rd "Soot Bamboo Tea Scoop Carving Event" in Kochi.

Tea Ceremony Experience Class (Kolbe Catholic College in Perth, Western Australia)

We demonstrated the Edo Senke tea ceremony at the "International Family Night" at Presbyterian Ladies' College in Perth, Western Australia.

Featured in the Local Radio Program 'Creating the Future of Oimachi Lab' (FM Shinagawa, Tokyo)

We recently participated in the local radio program, "Creating the Future of Oimachi Lab," a collaborative initiative between the Isagai Lab. of Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus and the community FM station "FM Shinagawa."

Kokoro Filling Incense and Tea Ceremony (Ohta, Tokyo)

How elegant the world of incense is!
On July 29th, under the bright summer sun, we held the "Kokoro Filling Incense and Tea Ceremony" led by an incense instructor.

On June 7th, we hosted a tea ceremony workshop at the FEWture Conference, organized by FEW Japan.

Supporting the Corporate Tea Ceremony Club's First Tea Gathering (Ohta, Tokyo)

Outdoor Tea Ceremony with Bamboo (Kochi Forest Synthesis Center Information Exchange Hall)

We attempted to merge the practice of outdoor activities with the art of tea ceremony. Traditionally, the tea ceremony, known as "chaji," involves serving kaiseki cuisine as a prelude to the thick matcha tea (koicha), setting the stage for it to be fully appreciated.

Incence and Chanoyu Experience (Denenchofu, Ota-ku)

On April 4th, when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom in Tokyo and the weather cleared after the previous day's rain, we were fortunate to host an event titled "Incense and Japanese Tea Experience".

Participation in the Perth Japan Festival (Perth, Western Australia)

The Perth Japan Festival, held on March 23rd, celebrated its 10th anniversary this year with an event that ran from 11 AM to 8 PM.

Tea Scoop Carving Experience with Mr. Izumi Moriwaki

We were fortunate to receive the expert guidance of Izumi Moriwaki, a professional architect and chashaku craft teacher, who drove all the way from Sanda City to Kochi.

Kumihimo Amulet Charm Workshop (Ecoru Togoshi, Shinagawa, Tokyo)

We were honored to have Ms. Takako Aiba, a tea ceremony, kimono dressing, and knotting class instructor, to teach us about Kumihimo and knotting along with 12 participants.

Chanoyu Experience in Oimachi (Shinagawa Civic Center "Curian“ Tearoom)

Following the "Vibrant Centenarian Exercise", which is spreading nationwide from Kochi, we have been serving thin matcha tea to all participants.
